ANYO Summer Soccer League
The core purpose of this initiative, Coping Mental Health through Soccer is to provide a safe space where newcomer and racialized youth aged 18 to 29 from low income neighborhoods in Ottawa will increase social inclusion and promote mental wellness through free community soccer tournament. This project develop, implement and evaluate a sustainable model to increase inclusion of youth aged 18 – 29 disproportionately impacted by social isolation, particularly black and racialized youth. The project builds on the core expertise of the partners, to improve outcomes at the individual, community and systems level.
